Howdy! I'm Julius Shumpert! (@saintjuliusart)
Ever since I could remember, I’ve been obsessed with creating things — my childhood room was a landscape of Lincoln Logs, Legos, and sketchpads. That curiosity for building and imagining new worlds has never really gone away.
Faith has always been a steady rhythm in my life, and it continues to shape how I see beauty, meaning, and human connection. Much of my work explores how the spiritual and the everyday overlap — how design, story, and symbolism can invite people to slow down and wonder.
Whether I’m crafting a brand identity, designing a campaign, or exploring personal art, I’m drawn to the intersection of creativity and contemplation — where visuals don’t just look good, but say something true.
At the core of everything I make is one guiding question:
Where is the line between the sacred and the secular — or is there one at all?
Where is the line between the sacred and the secular — or is there one at all?
I believe, as St. Gregory of Nyssa said,
"Beauty... is itself another name for God."
